FRISCO, Texas – Texas A&M-Corpus Christi senior guard Jessica Jammer has been named Southland Conference
Women’s Basketball Player of the Week, the league office announced Sunday.
Jammer scored a season-high 16 points to lead the A&M-Corpus Christi to its first victory of the season with a 52-49 win over Cornell. The senior from
Brookshire, Texas (Royal H.S.), also chipped in eight rebounds and a career-high six steals while dishing out two assists. For the season, Jammer is averaging 6.7 points per contest and leads the Islanders on the boards with 5.8 rebounds per game.
