Register for SLC NOW
FRISCO, Texas ? The McNeese State at Central Arkansas football game on Saturday will be televised on the Southland Conference Television Network at 4 p.m., CST.
The Cowboys are in contention for a Southland Conference championship and automatic bid into the NCAA Division I Football Championship. For McNeese State to win the title outright, it needs to beat the Bears and have Sam Houston State beat Texas State. That game will kick off in Huntsville earlier in the day at 2 p.m. Central Arkansas, though not eligible for a conference championship or playoff berth during its reclassification transition to Division I, is trying to finish with the league’s best record.
McNeese State averages 38.3 points and 464.7 yards per game to lead the conference and rank third and fifth in the nation, respectively. Its 236.7 rushing yards rank ninth in the Football Championship Subdivision. Central Arkansas is third in the conference in scoring defense, averaging 36.6 points per game, and is fourth in the league in total offense with an average of 439.6 yards per game. The Bears lead the conference in scoring defense, allowing only 25.3 points per game. McNeese has the top total defense in the conference, allowing 343.8 yards per game. Central Arkansas is third, allowing 394.0 yards per game.
The game will also be available on SLC NOW, the Southland's subscription-based online video and audio streaming channel. Pricing for the SLC NOW webcast is $5.95 per game, $39.95 for a season pass, or $59.95 for an annual pass, which entitles the subscriber to every live event broadcast by the league.
