FRISCO, Texas –
Stephen F. Austin senior forward Zuri Prince was named Southland Conference Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday. The Ladyjacks swept the weekly awards as sophomore defender Brooke Dunnigan earned her first defensive player of the week awards of the season and senior Morgan Glick earned her third goalkeeper player of the week honor.
 
Offensive Player of the Week –Zuri Prince, Stephen F. Austin
Senior Zuri Prince scored both goals on the weekend, as the Ladyjacks improved to 6-0 in Southland Conference play with a 1-0 win at McNeese State (overtime) and Abilene Christian. The native of Beaumont, Texas (Kelly HS) recorded seven shots and three on goal across 178 minutes played. Prince scored the golden goal at McNeese State in the 97th minute, before following with her second straight-game winning goal at Abilene Christian in the 82nd minute.

Defensive Player of the Week – Brooke Dunnigan, Stephen F. Austin
Sophomore defender Brooke Dunnigan helped the Stephen F. Austin women’s soccer team to two 1-0 wins at McNeese State (overtime) and Abilene Christian, as the Ladyjacks remained undefeated in Southland Conference play. The native of Round Rock, Texas (Vista Ridge HS), recorded the assist in SFA’s golden goal against McNeese State. Dunnigan played 186 minutes of lockdown defense. 
 
Honorable Mention: Caitlyn Schwartz, Sam Houston State; Erin Christ, Southeastern Louisiana; Alyssa Gerner, Abilene Christian; Kristi O’Brien, Houston Baptist; Jessica Berdan, A&M-Corpus Christi.

Goalkeeper of the Week –Morgan Glick, Stephen F. Austin
Senior keeper Morgan Glick anchored SFA to two 1-0 wins at McNeese State (overtime) and Abilene Christian, as the Ladyjacks improved to 6-0 in Southland Conference play. The native of Boerne, Texas (Champion HS), made 10 saves and faced 25 shots across 186 minutes in the net to record two shutouts and move her record to 8-2-1 on the season. Glick now has seven shutouts on the season, which leads the conference. She is also the only SLC player to receive goalkeeper player of the week three times this season.
 
Honorable Mention: Megan Delaney, A&M-Corpus Christi; Kelsey Dombrowski, Abilene Christian; Kylie Hambleton, Sam Houston State; Lauren Sestak, McNeese State.
 
Each school’s sports information director nominates and votes for the players of the week, though is not permitted to vote for his or her own player. To receive honorable mention, a student-athlete must receive votes from 25 percent of the Southland sports information directors.
