Post match Quotes:
Texas State Coach Karen Chisum
"We're in the second round. You always want to get through the first one and now it's on to the second. We weren't playing bad today, but we weren't playing real aggressive. In tomorrow's match we need to increase our tempo, speed and domination."
"We have to play faster volleyball tomorrow. We have six hitters, so we get to spread the ball around. No one gets 45 sets, because we're very well rounded. It makes us good as a team, because our opponents never know where the ball is coming from next."
Texas State Senior Jessica Weynand
"We were focused today. We came out there knowing what we had to do. We had to win three matches. We started off a little slow, but we brought it back up. We definitely have to pick it up tomorrow and come out with high energy.
Southeastern Louisiana Coach Julie Langford
"Texas State is a tough team and I had hoped that we would do better. But it was a good end to our season, to make the tournament after so many years. It's good experience for our players and a good momentum builder for the 2010 season."
Southeastern Louisiana Junior Alex Greer
"It was a tough loss. We should have come on stronger. But it was good to reach the tournament and we look forward to next season."
