AFCA All-America Team

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Seniors Jeremy Moses and Kenneth Charles have been named to the 2010 American Football Coaches Association All-America Team, the organization announced Tuesday.

A 2010 Walter Payton Award finalist, Moses guided SFA to a 9-3 overall record and the team's first outright conference title since the 1989 season. Moses capped his senior season by becoming the school and Southland Conference all-time leading passer. Moses led the nation in completions (28.0 pg), passing yards (333.2 yards per game) and passing touchdowns (34) in 2010.

Moses directed the nation's top-ranked passing offense for a second consecutive season, averaging more than 343 yards per game. The Lumberjacks were also ranked second in total offense (468.2) and sixth in scoring offense (34.9).

Charles made the switch from interior lineman to defensive end prior to his senior season, and the move paid hug dividends. Charles finished fifth on the team with 59 tackles, but led the conference with 16 sacks, and 25 tackles for loss. He was also credited with four forced fumbles and two pass deflections on the season.
