Southland, Partners Launch New Website, Digital Network

FRISCO, Texas – The Southland Conference has partnered with SIDEARM Sports and Volar Video to launch the league’s enhanced digital network, including its official website, the conference announced Tuesday in conjunction with the website’s debut this week.
 
As the Southland’s official website provider, SIDEARM Sports gives fans of the Southland and its member schools a fully adaptive experience across all platforms. SIDEARM Sports has already released a new, official Android app for the conference and will release an all-new app for iOS devices in the coming days.

The Southland Conference Digital Network will offer video, live stats, photo galleries and full social media integration in addition to always popular content like standings, statistics, event recaps, schedules and results.
 
The league also partnered with Volar Video to create a dedicated video portal for the digital network that will be home to live events and an archived library of highlights, interviews and features that will remain free to viewers.

An NCAA Division I athletic conference, the Southland currently consists of 14 member universities in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma, and four new members join July 1, 2013.
