UIW Women’s Tennis Swept by No. 6 Baylor

WACO, TEXAS – The University of the Incarnate Word women's tennis team concluded a weekend of away fixtures with a loss against Baylor University on Sunday. The sixth-ranked Lady Bears cruised to a 7-0 sweep at the Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center.
On the end of a six game winning streak, the Lady Bears (6-0) opened up the match winning all three doubles matches to take the first point.
In singles play, the Cardinals (0-4) were swept at all six spots. Malisa Vatanadilok took the most games in a set with a 2-6, 0-6 loss.
The Cardinals are back in action next weekend when they play their home-opener against Air Force Academy on Saturday at 10 a.m.
