Southland Conference Softball Tournament Tickets Now on Sale

FRISCO, Texas – Tickets are now on sale for the 2015 Southland Conference Softball Tournament, which is scheduled for May 6-8 and will be hosted by Northwestern State at the Lady Demon Diamond in Natchitoches, La.
An all-tournament pass, which allows entry into all 11 possible games of the tournament, is $18 for adults or $12 for youth. A single day ticket, which will include four games on Wednesday or Thursday with the maximum of three games on Friday, is $10 for adults and $7 for youth. For ticket purposes, a youth is any child ages 5-17.
All students from Southland Conference schools will receive free admission with a valid student ID, and all children ages four and younger will also be admitted free.

The double-elimination tournament will include the conference’s top six teams. The winner of the tournament will receive the Southland’s automatic bid to the NCAA Softball Championship.
There will be a minimum of 10 games played during the three-day tournament. Game times the first two days of the tournament are 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Up to three games could be played Friday, with the first game set for 10:30 a.m. and the championship game scheduled for 2 p.m. An 11th game will be played between the teams in Game 10 to determine the champion if it is the first loss for the losing team. Game 11 start time is to be determined.

The entire tournament will be streamed live on the Southland Digital Network with the exception of the championship game, which will be available exclusively on ESPN3.
