HAMMOND, La. –  Southeastern Louisiana's Jameson Fisher and Northwestern State's Adam Oller joined another All-America squad Saturday, when the American Baseball Coaches Association released the 2016 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. I All-America teams following the All-America Committee meeting in Omaha, Nebraska.

The redshirt junior from Zachary, Louisiana, was named to the first team after helping Southeastern to a 40-21 record in 2016, its second-consecutive 40-win season, and the program's first at-large bid to the NCAA postseason.

Fisher leads the nation in on-base percentage (.558). He also ranks second in batting average (.424), third in OPS (1.250), seventh in sacrifice flies (8), 11th in walks (54), 12th in slugging percentage (.716), and 16th in RBIs (66).

His batting average, on-base percentage and walk totals are all school single-season records. Through three seasons, Fisher owns the program's career records in batting average (.375) and on-base percentage (.483). He is also tied with former Lion shortstop Justin Boudreaux for the most sacrifice flies (15) in a career.

Fisher, who was named both the Southland Conference Baseball Player of the Year and Student Athlete of the Year, was a semifinalist for both the Dick Howser Trophy and Golden Spikes Award, two of the nation's most prestigious postseason player awards.

He has been named an All-American by Baseball America, Collegiate Baseball / Louisville Slugger, www.D1Baseball.com, the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association and is a CoSIDA Academic All-American, won the HERO Sports Fan Choice Award, picked up All-Region honors from the American Baseball Coaches Association and recently was drafted in the fourth round of the 2016 Major League Baseball Draft by the Chicago White Sox.

Oller becomes the first Demons ABCA All-American since shortstop Ryan Anholt was a third-team selection in 1998 and 1999.

Oller was named a second-team Louisville Slugger All-American by Collegiate Baseball magazine after posting an 8-1 record with a 1.23 ERA during his junior campaign. He struck out a career-best 73 batters while allowing just 81 hits.

Oller, the 2016 Southland Conference Pitcher of the Year, threw 109 2-3 innings, the second-most in a single season in Northwestern State history. His ERA was the third lowest in the country and the fifth-lowest by a Demons pitcher in program history.

Kyle Lewis of Mercer University won the ABCA/Rawlings Gold Bat Award as National Player of the Year. Lewis, a junior outfielder from Snellville, Georgia, hit .395 with 20 home runs, 72 RBI, 70 runs scored and a 1.000 fielding percentage. He was selected No. 11 overall by the Seattle Mariners in the 2016 MLB Draft.

First recognized in 1949, the ABCA/Rawlings All-Americans are selected by the ABCA All-America committee, which is chaired by Dean Ehehalt of Monmouth University. The committee also includes head coaches Mike Stone (Massachusetts), Brian O'Connor (Virginia), Tim Corbin (Vanderbilt), Steve Jaksa (Central Michigan), Dan Heefner (Dallas Baptist), Tommy Raffo (Arkansas State) and George Horton (Oregon).

The ABCA, founded in 1945, is the primary professional organization for baseball coaches at the amateur level. Its over 8,200 members represent all 50 states and 23 countries. Since its initial meeting of 27 college baseball coaches in June 1945, Association membership has broadened to include eight divisions: NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA, NJCAA, Pacific Association Division, High School and Youth. The 73rd annual ABCA Convention will be held Jan. 5-8, 2017 in Anaheim, California.
