Southland Conference Partners with TicketSmarter
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Southland Conference enters a multiyear partnership with TicketSmarter to become the conference’s official ticket resale marketplace partner, announced Friday. TicketSmarter will deliver an enhanced ticketing experience by giving Southland Conference fans a secure platform to buy and sell tickets.
“The Southland Conference is very pleased to announce this new partnership between the league and TicketSmarter, an innovator in the ticket resale marketplace,” Southland Conference Commissioner Tom Burnett said. “We are excited to provide additional ticketing opportunities to the fans of Southland sports, especially during our men’s and women’s basketball tournaments.”

The Southland Conference will join an expanding list of conferences in the U.S. partnering with TicketSmarter, including the America East Conference, Big South Conference, Big West Conference, Colonial Athletic Association, Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, Sun Belt Conference, West Coast Conference, and the Western Athletic Conference. As part of the new agreement, TicketSmarter will gain exclusive marketing and sponsorship rights for the Southland Conference, while offering Southland Conference fans a ticket resale marketplace.
The sponsorship agreement was negotiated by the Southland Conference’s multi-media rights partner Van Wagner.
