Nicholls' Kyla Hamilton named Southland Women's Basketball Player of the Week
FRISCO, Texas – Nicholls’ Kyla Hamilton has been named the Southland Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for the third week of the regular season, as announced Monday by the conference office.
Player of the Week: Kyla Hamilton, Nicholls – Jr. – Guard – Westlake, La. (Sam Houston HS)
Hamilton was named to the All-Lady Eagle Thanksgiving Classic Team, averaging 20.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists in the tournament. She finished the week 8-of-15 from long distance and helped the Colonels pick up a victory over Mississippi Valley State. For the week, she averaged 15.7 points, 7.3 rebound, and 3.6 assists per game with a high of 21 points against Southern Miss.
