Murdix of A&M-Corpus Christi fills up box score, wins Southland Men's Basketball Player of the Week

FRISCO, Texas – Terrion Murdix of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi filled up the box score in key victories of Nicholls and McNeese last week to earn the Southland Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week award for the 11th award of the regular season, as announced Monday by the conference office.

Murdix broke the school record for assists in a game with 15 in the win over Nicholls to go along with 17 points and seven rebounds. He followed it up with 15 points, nine assists and seven rebounds in a victory over McNeese. On the week, Murdix averaged 16 points, 12 assists, 7 rebounds and 2 steals per game as the Islanders went 2-0.
