FRISCO – The Southland Conference announced the Northwestern State at Nicholls football game scheduled for Saturday, October 14, has been canceled. The decision was made following communication between the Southland Conference, Northwestern State University, and Nicholls State University administrations. 

The entire Southland Conference membership and community support Northwestern State following the devastating tragedy which resulted in the death of football student-athlete Ronnie Caldwell Jr.
