FRISCO, Texas – Lamar's Sevonne Rhea, UIW's Tylan Foster, and HCU's Dillon Fedor are the winners of the Southland Conference’s football weekly awards for the seventh week of the season, as announced by the conference office Monday.
Offensive Player of the Week: Sevonne Rhea, Lamar – WR – So. – Houston, Texas (Porter HS)
Wide receiver Sevonne Rhea put together a terrific game to lead Lamar to their fourth straight win, defeating Southeastern on the road in Hammond. Rhea finished with six catches for 133 yards and two touchdowns in the 30-24 win. It was his first 100-yard receiving game of the season, which was delayed in getting started due to injury. Rhea's two scores came within two minutes of each other which at the time gave the Cards a 20-point lead in the first half.
Defensive Player of the Week: Tylan Foster – LB – Jr. – Houston, Texas (Cy-Woods HS)
Linebacker Tylan Foster put together a terrific performance in a dominant defensive perfomance against Texas A&M-Commerce. Foster came up big in the Cardinals' 28-11 win, leading the defense with 13 total tackles including an interception, a half of a sack, a tackle for loss, and a quarterback hurry. Foster came away with an interception on the first Commerce drive of the game, while his sack came in the fourth quarter to help put the game away.

Special Teams Player of the Week: Dillon Fedor, HCU – K – Jr. – Henderson, Nev. (Liberty HS)
Kicker Dillon Fedor was a difference maker in HCU's dominant 30-0 home win over Prairie View A&M. Fedor was a perfect 3-for-3 on both field goals and PATs as he connected on field goals of 19, 21 and 26 yards. Fedor opened the scoring with a 19-yard make in the first for a 3-0 lead before HCU exploded for a 24-0 going into the break. All the second half points came off the foot of Fedor in the third quarter, connecting on 21 and 26-yarders.
