AMCC's Murdix wins second Southland Men's Basketball Player of the Week award

FRISCO, Texas – A&M-Corpus Christi's Terrion Murdix filled up the box score in two wins last week, helping push the Islanders to the top of the conference standings and winning Southland Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week, which was announced Monday by the conference office.

Murdix played a big role in A&M-Corpus Christi's 2-0 road weekend to move into sole possession of first place. He averaged 19.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 3.5 steals per game at Nicholls and McNeese. Against the Colonels, he netted a career-high 25 points to hand Nicholls its only home loss of the season. Against the Cowboys, he neared a double-double with 14 points, nine rebounds, six assists, and four steals. Murdix helped A&M-Corpus Christi up its winning streak to eight games.
