FRISCO, Texas – Isaac Mushila of A&M-Corpus Christi pushed his team to the league's regular season title to take the closing Southland Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week award of the season, which was announced Thursday by the conference office.

Player of the Week: Isaac Mushila, A&M-Corpus Christi - Forward - Senior - Lubumbashi, Congo (Spire Acad.)
Mushila's all-around performance in Wednesday's game gave the Islanders a 93-88 overtime victory over A&M-Commerce and clinched the outright regular season championship for A&M-Corpus Christi. He scored 21 points on 8-of-14 shooting, including connecting on both of his three-point attempts, while also grabbing 17 rebounds.
