FRISCO – Amanda Brooks rejoins the Southland Conference as she was named Senior Associate Commissioner of Business Operations.
"We are ecstatic to welcome back a talented financial leader back to the Southland Conference in Amanda Brooks," said Commissioner Christ Grant. "Amanda's impeccable experience and phenomenal leadership in NCAA Division I athletics, combined with her knowledge of the Southland Conference and our footprint, made her the ideal candidate for our Conference. Prior to her first stop in Frisco, she spent two years at UTSA, serving in the business office and as Assistant to the Athletics Director.
In addition to her background in business operations, Brooks has also volunteered with the 2018 NCAA Men's Final Four and the 2021 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament, both taking place in San Antonio.
