FRISCO, Texas – Southeastern's Justin Williams and Lamar left-handed pitcher Hunter Hesseltine were named the Jersey Mike's Southland Baseball Player of the Week awards for the fourth week of the 2024 season, announced Monday by the conference office.
Hitter of the Week: Justin Williams, Southeastern - Sr. - OF - Madison, Miss. (Louisiana Tech)
Justin Williams had a terrific weekend, hitting .500 with a .786 slugging percentage. williams collected seven hits over the weekend with a double, a home run, and two rbi. he also added a stolen base on the weekend
Pitcher of the Week: Hunter Hesseltine, Lamar - Jr. - LHP - Topeka, Kan. (Seaman HS)
Hesseltine improved to 3-0 after pitching 7.0 innings of scoreless baseball to get the victory over Pacific. He struck out seven Tigers with no walks while allowing just three walks.
