FRISCO, Texas – Southeastern's Jude Hall and Brennan Stuprich were named the Jersey Mike's Southland Baseball Player of the Week awards for the third week of the 2024 season, announced Monday by the conference office.
Hitter of the Week: Jude Hall, Southeastern - Jr. - OF - Chilliwack, British Columbia (Yavapai College)
Jude Hall was outstanding on the weekend, coming away with seven hits including a two home runs and nine RBI in Southeastern’s five games played this week. After driving in three runs against Xavier (La.), Hall went 3-for-3 with a pair of home runs and three RBI against Mississippi Valley. His most significant showing came against No. 11 East Carolina, where he finished with a pair of hits and three RBI in the 11-9 road upset win over the nationally-ranked Pirates.
Pitcher of the Week: Brennan Stuprich, Southeastern - R-Jr. - RHP - Kenner, La. (Brother Martin HS)
Brennan Stuprich tossed seven innings of scoreless ball, allowing onlu three hits and striking out five to one walk against Cal State Fullerton this past weekend in North Carolina. Stuprich held his opposition to a .130 batting average and was key to the lions finishing the weekend 2-1.
