FRISCO, Texas — Southeastern guard Lihi Azouri has earned this week's Jersey Mike's Southland Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week award, the conference office announced Monday.
Women's Basketball Player of the Week: Lihi Azouri – Fr. – G – Herzliya, Gush Dan, Israel
In the conference opener, Azouri scored 29 points on 10-for-17 shooting and 5-for-7 from three-point range with seven rebounds in the third game of her collegiate career. The freshman led Southeastern to its first conference win of the season, defeating East Texas A&M at home, 76-71. The freshman shot 52 percent in two games on the week, scoring 19 points per game.
