Stuprich Named Baseball Student-Athlete of the Year; All-Academic Team Announced

FRISCO – Southeastern right-handed pitcher Brennan Stuprich is the 2025 Southland Conference Baseball Student-Athlete of the Year, the league announced Friday. The announcement comes along with the release of the academic all-conference teams.

Stuprich compiled a 9-5 win-loss record, 109 strikeouts and a 2.90 ERA. He led the Southland Conference in wins, strikeouts and innings pitched. He was named a Third Team All-American by the NCBWA and the Southland Pitcher of the Year.

Stuprich also became the program's all-time leader in wins (tied), games started and innings pitched, along with finishing one strikeout shy of tying the SLU career record.

Stupirch finished with a 3.63 GPA, earning his Masters in Business Administration.

The All-Academic teams are voted on by head coaches, sports information directors and academic/compliance staff members from each Southland Conference institution. Student-athletes must possess a 3.25 cumulative GPA, have completed one full academic year at the nominating institution to qualify for All-Academic selection, and have competed in at least 50 percent of their team’s contests on the season, excluding pitchers.
