Southland Conference and Spiideo Partner to Bring Cloud-Based Replay and Video Technology to Seven Sports

MALMÖ, SWEDEN & FRISCO, TEXAS — The Southland Conference (https://www.southland.org/) and Spiideo (www.spiideo.com) are proud to announce a new multi-year partnership that will bring Spiideo’s replay and performance platforms to all 12 Southland member institutions across seven sports.

Through this 5-year collaboration, the Southland Conference and Spiideo will implement replay for football, baseball, softball, soccer, men’s and women’s basketball, and volleyball, transforming the conference’s approach to replay and game-day video operations with a modern, flexible, and cloud-native solution.

The Southland Conference becomes the first conference office to partner directly with Spiideo, establishing a groundbreaking model for league-wide technology integration. Through this collaboration, the Southland is implementing a fully unified, cloud-based video and replay system across all member institutions and seven sports, setting a new standard for innovation, consistency, and operational efficiency in collegiate athletics.

The Southland’s adoption of Spiideo’s technology signals a bold, forward-thinking commitment to innovation that enhances both competition and collaboration. With real-time replay access for officials, streamlined performance tools for coaches, and centralized video management for administrators, this platform will redefine how the league operates on game day and beyond.

As part of the partnership, the Southland will also utilize Spiideo’s League Exchange to streamline video sharing and teams will have access to Spiideo Perform to enhance performance analysis. Together, these tools will provide a unified video infrastructure across the conference—supporting coaches, officials, and administrators with real-time access and long-term development resources.

“This is unlike anything else in college athletics,” said Southland Commissioner Chris Grant. “By partnering with Spiideo, we're bringing an elite, cloud-based video and replay system to every Southland campus—something no other league is doing at this scale. This technology will redefine how we train, compete, and officiate, and it reflects our relentless commitment to innovation and elevating the student-athlete experience."

“This partnership represents a shared commitment to innovation and excellence in collegiate sports,” said Patrik Olsson, CEO & Co-Founder of Spiideo. “We’re thrilled to work alongside the Southland Conference to deliver technology that makes officiating, coaching, and collaboration more powerful and efficient than ever before.”
