FRISCO — The Southland Conference announced its 2026 baseball schedule Thursday, featuring a 30-game round-robin format.
Ten of the league’s 11 teams will take the field each weekend, with one team receiving a bye in conference play. Each program will play 10 three-game series, with league action set to begin February 27. Opening weekend features marquee matchups between last year’s top four seeds, as co-regular season champion Southeastern visits Northwestern State in Natchitoches, while fellow co-champion UTRGV travels to Lamar in Beaumont.
The 2026 Southland Baseball Championship is scheduled for May 14–17, with bracket play hosted at the sites of the regular-season champion and runner-up. Those two double-elimination tournaments will determine the finalists for the Southland Championship Series, set for May 21–23 at the home of the highest remaining seed.
