FRISCO, Texas — SFA senior guard Keon Thompson has been named this week's Southland Men's Basketball Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday. This is Thompson's third time winning the award this season.

Thompson led the Lumberjacks to two more road wins, giving SFA its most road victories in a season since the 2019-20 campaign. He shot an efficient 64.3% from the floor and averaged 23.0 points per game behind his seventh and eighth 20+ scoring efforts of the season. This included his third game of 26+ points in '25-26 in the win at Lamar. He averaged five rebounds, four assists and 2.5 steals in addition to the high level scoring output.
