FRISCO, Texas — Southeastern's Kyra McKelvey, SFA's Jordan Henderson and UTRGV's Lana Rnjak have earned this week's Southland Volleyball Weekly Awards, the conference office announced Monday. Rnjak receives an honor for the second straight week and for a third time this season. McKelvey and Henderson are first-time winners in the 2026 campaign.
Offensive Player of the Week: Kyra McKelvey, Southeastern – Sr. – OH – Navarre, Fla. (Navarre High School)
McKelvey put together back-to-back team-high performances with 18 kills in each of Southeastern's wins over Northwestern State and East Texas A&M. The senior also totaled eight digs and seven blocks between both matches. McKelvey ranks fourth in the league in kills per set (3.38) and has helped the Lions to wins in each of their last three matches.

Defensive Player of the Week: Jordan Henderson – Jr. – MB – Mansfield, Texas (Mansfield High School)
Henderson had an integral part of the Ladyjacks' net defense on their way to continuing a perfect 4-0 record in conference play. She led the team with six of the team's 12 blocks in SFA's sweep against Nicholls. Overall, Henderson recorded nine blocks, 13 kills, and a .478 attack percentage. She averaged 1.29 blocks per set, 1.86 kills per set and 2.64 points per set.

Setter of the Week: Lana Rnjak, UTRGV – Fr. – S – Pancevo, Serbia
Rnjak recorded 89 assists across two matches against UIW and HCU, tying her career high with 44 assists against UIW before setting a new career high with 45 assists against HCU. She posted a double-double against UIW with 44 assists and 13 digs, and added six digs. Over the two matches she also contributed 2 service aces as UTRGV went 2-0 at home to remain unbeaten in Southland Conference play.
