Opening Statement - "First off I hope people who saw this game on TV today know that there is some great basketball being played in this league. There are some great players in this league. I've coached in the Big 12, Mountain West, Conference USA and the only difference is we're a little undersized at the post. But the guard play is phenomenal. The play I got out of Darika Hill today and Trashanna Smith was outstanding. And when were in the game I just turn it over to No. 11 and let her run things."

On ankle injury - "Right now it's good. I'll get treatment and be ready for tomorrow. I'm just glad we won."

Opening Statement - "I can't say enough about how proud I am of the effort we put out there especially after we dug our self a hole early. Lamar is a very good basketball team. There is a reason they are the No. 1 seed. I thought our kids fought back hard and never gave up. A break here and there, who knows what might have happened. Meghan gave her heart and soul out there today. Just didn't go our way today, I wished it would have. I felt like when we got the one point lead if we had been able to convert on a couple of opportunities things may have been different."

On team offense - "It all starts with getting the board and kicking it out for the break. We wanted to be the aggressor today. To attack the basket and bring the game to Lamar instead of waiting on it to come to us. Meghan and Nicole were great for us. We had the lead in the second half but weren't able to hang on to it."

On loss to Lamar - "It's pretty hard when you're doing everything you can. Making pushes, rebounding and kicking the ball out on the break. But sometimes that's not enough. You have to keep going, pushing as hard as you can and that's what we tried to do. We had the intensity and focus, it just didn't fall our way today."

On her performance today - "There was a lot of minutes that were definitely unexpected. But I think overall it was a team effort. We pulled together and took up the slack. That's why it was such a good game. I think everybody did well.
