The 2018 Southland Conference Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships will take place at the Enos Derbonne Sports Complex in Lake Charles, La., hosted by McNeese.
Lamar aims to maintain its dominance on the men's side after winning their fifth-straight title last season. It is the team's 16th overall and 11th in the last 12 years. Abilene Christian won their second women's team title in three years in 2017.
For athletes who qualify, the NCAA South Central Regional qualifying race will take place on Friday, Nov. 9 in College Station, Texas, hosted by Texas A&M. The 2018 NCAA Cross Country Championships will take place at the Zimmer Championship Course in Madison, Wisc., on Saturday, Nov. 17.
