Lamar's Hamilton Named Southland Men's Basketball Player of the Week

FRISCO, Texas – Lamar's Adam Hamilton has been named the Southland Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for the second week of the regular season, as announced Monday by the conference office.

Center Adam Hamilton recorded consecutive doubles-doubles as the Cardinals went 1-1 on the week. Hamilton averaged 15.0 points, 13.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 blocks in the team's two games. Hamilton had 16 points, 14 rebounds, three block night in the win over UTSA, including a highlight real block that led to a dunk that turned the tide for good. He followed that up with 14 point, 12 rebound effort against Pacific.
