FRISCO, Texas — McNeese's Sincere Parker has earned this week's Jersey Mike's Southland Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week award, the conference office announced Monday.

Parker led McNeese to a 3-0 record on the week, averaging 20.7 points per game, all coming off the bench. He scored a season-high 31 points in an 84-69 win over previously undefeated Longwood in the semifinals of the Paradise Jam. Parker began the week with 18 points in a 68-61 win over North Texas before adding 13 points in a 76-68 win over Illinois State in the first round of the Paradise Jam. He also sank 20 of his 35 shots for 57% shooting for the week.
