FRISCO, Texas — Lamar's Andrew Holifield has earned this week's Jersey Mike's Southland Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week award, the conference office announced Monday.
Men's Basketball Player of the Week: Andrew Holified, Lamar – Jr. – F/C – Beaumont, Texas (West Brook High School)
Holifield recorded his second career double-double with 17 points and a career-high 11 rebounds, lifting Lamar in a no-doubt victory at UL Lafayette on Saturday. He also blocked two shots and recorded a steal in the victory, finishing 7 of 10 from the field and 1 of 2 from three-point range.
