FRISCO – CBS Sports announced Tuesday its full college basketball schedule, featuring five Southland men’s basketball contests on CBS Sports Network. 

CBS Sports Network Southland Schedule (2026) 

• Friday, Jan. 2, 2026 – Lamar at McNeese, 6 p.m. CT (CBSSN) 

• Monday, Jan. 26, 2026 – Northwestern State at Stephen F. Austin, 8 p.m. CT (CBSSN) 

• Monday, Feb. 2, 2026 – UIW at Texas A&M–Corpus Christi, 8 p.m. CT (CBSSN) 

• Monday, Feb. 23, 2026 – Nicholls at Lamar, 6 p.m. CT (CBSSN) 

• Monday, March 2, 2026 – McNeese at Nicholls, 6:30 p.m. CT (CBSSN) 

The CBS Sports Network slate tips off Friday, Jan. 2, with a rematch of the 2024 Southland Men’s Basketball Championship Game as two-time defending champion McNeese hosts archrival Lamar at 6 p.m. inside Townsley Law Arena in Lake Charles. 

Rivalry stays the theme on Monday, Jan. 26, when Stephen F. Austin welcomes cross-border foe Northwestern State for an 8 p.m. tip inside William R. Johnson Coliseum. 

The following week, the spotlight shifts to South Texas as a rejuvenated UIW squad visits the 2021 and 2022 Southland Champion Texas A&M–Corpus Christi at 8 p.m. inside the Hilliard Center. 

Lamar returns to the CBS Sports Network lineup on Monday, Feb. 23, hosting Nicholls at 6 p.m. inside Neches Federal Credit Union Arena at the Montagne Center. The matchup features two programs that have finished among the league’s top three each of the past two seasons. 

Nicholls closes out the CBS Sports Network slate on Monday, March 2, hosting McNeese at 6:30 p.m. inside David R. Stopher Gymnasium, a rematch of the 2023 Southland Men’s Basketball Championship Game.
