FRISCO, Texas — Lamar's Adam Hamilton has been named this week's Jersey Mike's SLC Men's Basketball Player of the Week, the conference office announced Thursday. Hamilton is the third Lamar player to win the award this season.

Hamilton helped the Cardinals put the finishing touch on capturing the No. 2 seed in the Southland Conference Men's Basketball Championship. He poured in 12 points and nine rebounds, uplifting a staunch defensive effort that resulted in six blocks, one of which made SportsCenter's Top 10 Plays.
