FRISCO, Texas – The Southland Conference is proud to announce a partnership with The Field of 68 for its 2025 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Media Day. The event will take place on Monday, October 27, and will stream live on X and the Field of 68 YouTube channel.

Launched in 2020, The Field of 68 has quickly established itself as a leading voice in college basketball. The platform has built an audience of more than 200,000 followers across X, YouTube, and Instagram, providing expansive coverage of the sport and its personalities.

All 24 Southland men’s and women’s basketball programs will be represented during the event. Head coaches and student-athletes will join industry insiders to discuss the upcoming 2025-26 season, offering fans and media unique insight into the league’s tradition-rich programs.

The event will showcase the Southland’s competitive excellence at the mid-major level while underscoring the conference’s momentum and stability amid a rapidly changing collegiate athletics landscape.
