FRISCO, Texas – UNO's DeArica Pryor has won this week's SLC Women's Basketball Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday. Pryor is the first Privateer to win this award in 2023-24.
Women's Player of the Week: DeArica Pryor, UNO – Gr. – Urbandale, Iowa (Urbandale High School/Creighton)
Pryor and the Privateers closed non-conference play with a flourish, winning their last two games against Tarleton and Alcorn State. In those games, Pryor averaged 19 points and 5.5 rebounds. She was also highly accurate from three-point range, hitting 9-of-11 attempts for the week. Pryor ranks eighth in the SLC in scoring, averaging 12.7 points per game this season, and has played over 300 minutes across the Privateers' 10 games.
