Southland Conference Releases 2025 Beach Volleyball Award Winners and All-Conference Teams

FRISCO, Texas – The Southland Conference has announced the 2025 Beach Volleyball superlative award winners and all-conference teams ahead of this week's conference championships.
 
Texas A&M-Corpus Christi's Tess Spaansen and Madison Morrow were named the Pair of the Year. Spaansen was also named Freshman of the Year. Boise State's Allyson Alden was named Newcomer of the year, while the Broncos head coach Allison Voigt earned Coach of the Year honors.

Spaansen and Morrow were also named the first team all-conference pair in the ones position. The pair went 20-8 overall and 7-0 in conference play, all at the No. 1 position. They are the fourth pair in program history to win over 20 duals in a season. 
 
2025 Newcomer of the Year Alden and her partner Sharli O'Neil earned first-team all-conference at the twos position. The pair finished the year with a 19-9 record, winning three duals over ranked opponents; No. 7 Arizona, No. 11 Arizona State and No. 18 Grand Canyon. They are the only pair this season who claimed SLC pair of the week multiple times.

Allison Voigt is the Southland Coach of the Year after leading the Broncos to it's first Southland regular-season title. Boise State went 19-10 in the regular season and went 8-0 in Southland Conference action.
 
The 2025 Southland Beach Volleyball Championships begins on Wednesday, with the winner of the double-elimination tournament taking the automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.
