CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — No. 1 Texas A&M-Corpus Christi secured its spot in the 2026 Southland Conference Beach Volleyball Championship match on day two of the tournament at Waters Edge Park in Corpus Christi, Texas, Thursday.
The Islanders defeated No. 2 Southeastern, 3-0, to advance to Friday’s championship match, which is set for 1 p.m. CT.
Southeastern will meet No. 4 HCU Friday at 9 a.m. for a chance to move on to play Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. The Huskies defeated both No. 6 SFA (3-0) and No. 3 McNeese (3-2) to earn their spot against the Lions.
The winner of the 2026 Southland Conference Beach Volleyball Championship will secure an automatic bid to the 2026 NCAA Beach Volleyball Championships.
