FRISCO, Texas — The Southland Conference announced its 2025-26 women's basketball schedule Tuesday, comprised of a 22-game round robin format.
The 12 women's basketball teams will play 11 home and 11 away games, marking the largest number of contests in Southland Conference women's basketball history. Additionally, East Texas A&M is now eligible for NCAA postseason competition after the NCAA Division I Board of Directors approved full Division I membership status for the Lions during its meeting on June 23.
Conference play will start on November 22 with East Texas A&M hosting the 2024-25 regular-season champion Southeastern in Commerce, Texas. Between November and December 29, 18 conference games will be played. December 31, 2025 marks the first day that will be consistently played on Thursdays and Saturdays. The regular season will come to an end on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.

2026 Jersey Mike's Southland Women's Basketball Championship presented by Explore Louisiana will be hosted at the Legacy Center in Lake Charles, La., March 9-12, 2026.
