FRISCO, Texas — UTRGV forward Charlotte O'Keefe has earned this week's Jersey Mike's Southland Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week award, the conference office announced Monday.

O'Keefe gained national attention with her elite performance Thursday in a win over SLU as she recorded 22 rebounds and 22 points shooting 11-for-15 from the field, four blocks, three assists and three steals. Her 22 rebounds are the third-most in a game in Division I action this season and matches the 10th-most in a game in SLC history. She averaged a double-double over the week with 16 rebounds/game and 15 points/game along with six total blocks. O'Keefe went on to tally her ninth double-digit rebounding performance in 12 games on Saturday against McNeese, recording 10 rebounds, eight points and two blocks.
