FRISCO, Texas — HCU guard Kamryn McLaurin has earned this week's Jersey Mike's Southland Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week award, the conference office announced Monday.

McLaurin poured in a career-high 29 points off the bench to help lead HCU to a 77-70 double overtime win over Southeastern. The freshman finished the game 10-of-13 from the floor and 8-of-14 from the foul line while also adding 3 steals and a pair of rebounds.
