FRISCO, Texas – Texas A&M Corpus Christi's Madison Morrow and Kristin Bobay have won the first Southland Conference Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week award of the 2026 season, announced Tuesday by the conference office.

Morrow and Bobay went 3-1 at the No. 1 court, defeating No. 20 Tulane, RV Oregon and RV South Florida during Texas A&M-Corpus Christi's opening weekend. The pair's win over Tulane was one of four courts that helped lead the Islanders to its fourth ranked win in program history. Morrow and Bobay won in straight-sets against Oregon (21-17, 21-16) and went on to defeat No. 20 Tulane, 29-27 and 21-18. On Saturday, the pair won its third straight-set win of the weekend against RV USF. The Islanders closed out the opening weekend with the 1-3 record, facing all teams either ranked in the top 20 or receiving votes in the AVCA Coaches Poll.
