A&M-Corpus Christi's Dayne Prim takes home Southland Men's Basketball Player of the Week award
FRISCO, Texas – Texas A&M-Corpus Christi's Dayne Prim has been named this week's Southland Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week, as announced Monday by the conference office. This marks the 5th straight week a different SLC Institution's player has been recognized as Player of the Week to start the 2023-24 season.
Men's Player of the Week: Dayne Prim, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi – F - Gr. – Amarillo, TX. (Tascosa High School)
Prim shot 58.3 percent from the field to average 10.5 points on the week, including a season-high 19 points in the win over Omaha. He sank a trio of three-pointers against the Mavericks to average 50.0 percent from beyond-the-arc. Prim also tallied an average of 5.5 rebounds and 1.0 assists through the two games, in addition to grabbing three steals.
