FRISCO, Texas – A&M-Corpus Christi guard Jordan Roberts has been named the Jersey MIke's Southland Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week as announced Monday by the conference office.
Men's Player of the Week: Jordan Roberts, A&M-Corpus Christi – G – Jr. – Grand Prairie, Texas (South Grand Prairie)
Jordan Roberts averaged 19.5 points per outing on the undefeated week for the Islanders, opening with a career-night 22 points against Northwestern State before aiding in a victory at Lamar with 17 points. In the last two games, he has been a combined 5-of-13 from the three-point line (.385) and shot an overall 56.5 percent from the floor. In addition, he averaged 3.5 assists per game including dishing four at Lamar.
