Northwestern State's Graiani, Southeastern's Webb win Indoor Track & Field Weekly Awards

FRISCO, Texas – Northwestern State's Vincente Graiani and Southeastern's Terrell Webb have earned the Men's Track & Field Athletes of the Week awards, respectively, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday.

Men’s Track Athlete of the Week: Vincent Graiani, Northwestern State  – Sprints - So. – Munich, Germany (Fachoberschule Unterschleissheim)
In his first meet with Northwestern State, Graiani ran personal-bests in the 200m (21.70), 400m (47.90) and as a member of the 4x400 relay team (3:12.78) at the Corky Classic. He sits at the top of the conference in both the 400-meter dash and the 4x400 relay and is second in the 200-meter dash. In the South Central region, he is ninth in the 4x400 relay, 17th in the 400 and 29th in the 200.

Men’s Field Athlete of the Week: Terrell Webb, Southeastern – Throws - Gr. – Cambridge, Ontario, Canada?
Webb immediately threw his way into the top-50 in all of Division I in the weight throw during Southeastern's first competition of the season, the LSU Purple Tiger. Webb's third throw in the event went 20.5 meters (67'3.25"), earning him the victory on the day and, at the time, giving him the 24th-best mark in the nation. As of this writing that mark now stands as the 35th-longest weight throw in D1.
