McNeese's Hollweg, New Orleans' Roulleau-Mailly Named Southland Tennis Players of the Week

FRISCO, Texas – McNeese's Ana Hollweg and New Orleans' Jacob Rouleau-Mailly have won this week's Southland Conference Tennis Players of the Week awards, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday. Rouleau-Mailly is a first-time winner while Hollweg earns the nod for the second time in her career and the first this season. 

Men's Player of the Week: Jacob Rouleau-Mailly, New Orleans – Jr. — Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac, Quebec, Canada
In his debut with the Privateers, Rouleau-Mailly went 8-0 while playing at the top flight in singles and flight two in doubles with Marius Gyllerup. Rouleau-Mailly was one of three Privateers to go undefeated for the week. The Privateers opened the season with two wins over Copiah-Lincoln Community College, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and Dillard.

Women's Player of the Week: Ana Hollweg, McNeese –  Jr. – Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia (Royal Hollow Academy)
Hollweg posted an outstanding week, going a perfect 4–0 in doubles with victories over Oral Roberts, Collin College, Tarleton State and Abilene Christian. She also went 3–1 in singles, earning wins against Oral Roberts, Collin College, and Abilene Christian, including two straight-set victories. Ana capped off the week by delivering the clinching point in the Cowgirls' win over Abilene Christian.
